Question from Wuan 3 [7]

If out products are designed in China but produced in Mexico, describe the differences between them and those which produced in China?

I think it is important to consider how purchasers perceptions and expectations meet reality.

Would a purchaser of a fine woven Aztec-style blanket feel the same way about their purchase if they found out that it was made in China?

It is important to maintain the perception that the purchaser has accepted - in the case of the comb, that perception involves traditional Chinese craftsmanship and special "mystical" qualities. This may not be compatible with Mexican manufacturing. You're not selling, and the buyer isn't buying - just a comb!
