Hello from San Diego

Hi, my name is Chelsey and I took Tyler's PR class at the University of Portland. During my undergraduate studies, I was fortunate to learn about the various types of PR through four internships. Two were with the Portland Rose Festival Association (a non-profit organization), one with HMH (a marketing communications agency), and the last with PacifiCorp (an electric company).

I'm originally from the Big Island of Hawaii and currently pursuing a master's degree in mass communication and media at San Diego State University in California. Upon graduating from college in 2003, I spent two years living in Japan. Through the JET Program, I had the opportunity to teach in Japanese high schools while traveling around Asia. Visiting numerous places in Japan, China, Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Hong Kong were awesome experiences and I hope to return to the area in the near future.
